Pre-Eclipse Events
The Neil Armstrong State Scenic Byway was approved by the Ohio Department of Transportation in 2020. You can drive along the same streets and see the places that Neil would have frequented as a boy during his years in Wapakoneta.
Join us at the historic home church of Neil Armstrong on Sunday, April 7th!
We are the Wapakoneta downtown church on the corner of Perry and Main St. and will be serving lunch, dinner and snacks from 11:30am -6:30pm. Join us for a special eclipse sermon from 10:15 - 11:15am.

Discover the community and county that Neil Armstrong called home! This small museum's one-of-a-kind collection reveals fascinating stories from the 19th and early 20th centuries. Located in Wapakoneta's oldest church (1861)! Admission is free, but donations are accepted.
